Apologetics
Exchanges with atheists can get heated! Sometimes it doesn’t matter what evidence is presented, there is a refusal to engage with the facts. Although everyone would insist they are open to searching for the ‘truth’, presuppositions usually cloud these conversations leaving little space for a change of mind.
However, there is one simple way to cut to the chase in these conversations with an effective technique, as covered on Faithwire. It is a straightforward question to ask the atheist with the aim of discovering true motives. Many don’t want there to be a God because of the implications that will mean to their lives.

Ray Comfort has an incredible gift of evangelism and we have a few of his video’s on our website where his unique style can be observed – he seems able to combine a genuinely loving and caring approach without compromising any of the truths of the gospel. He also has an ability to articulate the gospel so clearly and personally to people from all kinds of backgrounds.
We find it interesting that in many of the clips in Ray’s videos, it is the reality of a coming judgment that appears to grab peoples attention and the reality of their own need of salvation when presented with God’s moral law –… Continue reading
Questioning if Jesus Christ is actually God is a common challenge that can be responded to in various ways but there is one very clear piece of evidence, that is how Jesus spoke.

Christians are under pressure (if not under attack) for their views on same-sex marriage, gender identity and other related topics. Those who stand up for Biblical values on sexuality and marriage are accused of being divisive or worse!
This is a very good blog from Stand to Reason that we recommend reading – The Pragmatic Benefits of God-Given Sexual Boundaries.
It is ‘reason’ that many people struggle with as Christianity is usually singled out as the problem in our ‘modern’ culture. It is welcoming to read some rational thoughts on this subject that have become over-complicated and driven by ’emotion’ more than reason.
As sexual scandals now dominate our… Continue reading
