Finding a truly gifted Biblical teacher can be an incredibly difficult task in the confusing times we live in. Most of what we hear in UK churches are a mixture of truth and error – the vast majority of teaching is mixed up with tradition, ritual or the quest for popularity. If what we hear contains doctrinal error, it is good for nothing as it pollutes the good. The devil will always cover his lies with some truth, false doctrine is the same – it will always come dressed up with enough truth to either be believable or to cause us to take our guard down.

We have mentioned that our friend Sean Kehoe has written a number of books describing the Christian faith as taught by Jesus Christ. His website also has a page devoted to providing a list of trustworthy Bible teachers – we highly recommend these teachers to anyone:

Real Christianity – Approved Ministries

This is not an exhaustive list but is certainly a great starting point! We would also suggest a look at our links page for a much shorter list of recommended teachers/ministries who have edified us in our walk with the Lord!

The Bible clearly warns that many IN THE CHURCH will be led astray in the end times and we cannot over prepare for this – deception is rife, time is short and the stakes are VERY high! It is vital to open the pages of the Bible and simply believe the gospel message as taught by Jesus Himself. It is also our responsibility to read the warnings and predictions of worldwide conditions imminently before the return of Christ and be ready! Don’t be conned by those who either ignore these warning or allegorise them away to be useless. Take a Berean approach (see quote below) and test everything you hear in order not to be deceived.

Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. (Acts 17:11)
