A couple of news agencies have picked up on a strange event as many hundreds of fish were found dead in a London lake:

There could be many reasons for this, environment agencies are currently investigating possible causes. We see strange mass animal deaths now happening all over the world that seems to resemble a prophecy by Hosea where animals of the field, birds, and fish will be taken away:
Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away. (Hosea 4:1-3)
These verses are clearly describing events in Hosea’s day but he was not the only prophet to warn about God killing off animals as a judgment against nations. Ezekiel, Jeremiah and Zephaniah also speak on animal deaths against nations as a warning of their sin.
Naturally, there are many suggested theories to explain these strange events that range from methane release because of tectonic plate movement to specific conditions in local areas. Natural explanations could very well be the reason some of these deaths but there have been hundreds of these events happening all around the world! In 2014 alone there have been 500 known MASS death events in 71 countries. Whatever your belief, this should cause everyone to consider what is happening in the world we live in!
The earth has been under a curse ever since the fall of man, the closer we get to Jesus’ second coming the effects of this curse will gain momentum. The signs we’ve been told to watch for are clearly visible to anyone who wants to take notice. Revelation contains some terrifying descriptions of a time of God’s wrath that is to come where the waters of the earth will be polluted and kill all living creatures within them:
Then I heard a loud voice from the temple telling the seven angels, “Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.” So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and harmful and painful sores came upon the people who bore the mark of the beast and worshipped its image. The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became like the blood of a corpse, and every living thing died that was in the sea. The third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water, and they became blood. (Revelation 16:1-4)
Could this strange phenomena that are being witnessed around the world be a minor birth pang of these end time cataclysmic events? Given that the Bible gives us such a clear warning of end time events, we have a responsibility to be alert and take notice.
Whether or not this is a judgment against the UK, what cannot be sure – what is clear is that the UK has turned away from God. It is not too late but we do need to repent before God’s patience with the UK runs out!
