When we talk about end times signs, like earthquake and volcano activity, many dismiss this as something that as “always happened.” While this is true, the amount that is actually happening worldwide is vastly underestimated by the average person. Only major earthquakes or volcanoes make the mainstream news headlines but with the erupted volcano in Chile and recent earthquake in Nepal the worlds attention is on these natural disasters.
As we said, the high number of earthquake and volcano activity throughout the world is not recognised! This title – The Number Of Volcanoes Erupting Right Now Is Greater Than The 20th Century’s YEARLY Average – might shock many! Volcano Discovery showed that on 16th April 2015 there were 36 volcanoes erupting, greater than the yearly average of the 20th century! Does this make you think? Is earth heading for a big calamity or is it just business as usual? Maybe one day all the earthquakes, volcanoes, and hurricanes will just suddenly stop…it’s possible and not reasonable with the evidence showing the opposite!
Of course, is this no surprise to Bible-believing Christians as we are told to expect an increase in natural disasters the closer we get to Jesus’ return. The analogy of labour pains is used in Scripture show how these end time signs will grow. Yes, there have been natural disasters for as long as we know but their intensity has been growing! Bible prophecy has a 100% track record and we are near the end of the book! We are in the end times, whether you acknowledge this now is your choice but it will affect you directly one day!
Every news report showing the aftermath of these natural disasters is heartbreaking and we pray for all those affected. We personally could find ourselves in the middle of a natural disaster at any time so we need to ensure our salvation today – turn to Jesus Christ now!
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
