Britain

Earlier this week we posted a blog, A clear example of antisemitism in the UK in which we reported on recent calls to boycott Israel, Israeli’s and anyone who has links to Israel.

This propaganda has been significantly notched up a level since then with MP George Galloway declaring Bradford an “Israel free” zone! He then went on to encourage all kinds of discrimination against Israeli’s and stated, “We don’t want any Israeli goods; we don’t want any Israeli services; we don’t want any Israeli academics coming to the university or the college. We don’t even want any Israeli tourists to come to Bradford even if any of them… Continue reading

A clear example of anti-semitism in UK

We are ashamed to report a clear example of anti-semitism in UK as the National Executive Committee of the National Union of Students (NUS) voted to adopt a policy of “Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions” (BDS) against Israel. The NUS exists to represent the interests of 7 million students throughout the UK and claims to “promote, defend and extend the rights of students and develop and champion strong student unions”. So why would the NUS feel the need to take this extreme action against Israel?

Surely, it’s mission is to represent Britain’s students, but if the NUS really want to make the world a better place, surely there are numerous of… Continue reading

The current events in Iraq with the Islamic State of Iraq & al-Sham (ISIS) has possibly taken many by surprise. ISIS’s aim to take full control of Iraq has shown no signs of mercy, leaving devastation and bloodshed wherever they have been. There is no indication that ISIS are slowing down or anyone putting up a challenge against them. Even David Cameron has warned this could even lead to an attack here in Britain – Daily Mail: ‘Islamic militants in Iraq planning to attack us here in the United Kingdom’: Cameron warns MPs of terror threat from Middle East.

Many people are watching this situation to see where it… Continue reading

Are you a light?

Are you a light to those around you? Jesus Christ made many bold claims – one of which was:

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12, emphasis added)

This is not like a light we have at home for when it gets dark or even like the sun that lights up our day which are both physical lights. Jesus is referring to spiritual light, He is the only source of spiritual truth available to us!

I am come a light into the world, that… Continue reading

The frenzied response from some Secularists when anyone dares mention the Christian faith in a positive light in the public arena is bewildering. During the Easter period, British Prime Minister David Cameron described the UK as a “Christian” nation and this has sparked an outcry from British Humanist Association (BHA) who arranged a petition signed by many well-known atheists to object.

Seeing as the BHA sees our Christian heritage as a problem, PJ Saunders has written a blog asking what heritage the secular movement has offered the citizens of the UK? Christians in the UK have often felt compelled to sacrificially helps others by setting up an array of social… Continue reading

We came across a YouTube clip (shown below) of British well-known personality Stephen Fry belittling belief in life after death. We respect him as an intelligent and funny guy but we were quite surprised by the rather baffling poor logic and mis-representation of the Christian faith that he displays in his reasoning.

Stephen Fry says that those who believe in an “after-life” do not accept death and that they are afraid of it. Christians are not afraid of death and fully accept it – in a sense, they look forward to death as pathway to something so much better. Why does Stephen Fry think that those who believe in an… Continue reading

Today marks the day where gay marriage carries the same legal status as traditional marriage. There is widespread support for this across the political spectrum and even in some C of E churches as this report shows – BBC News: Same-Sex marriage now legal as first couples web.

The Nick Democrat Leader Nick Clegg said, “Britain will be a different place”. This is true but unfortunately not for the better. The value of marriage as defined in the Bible is rapidly becoming irreversibly eroded and we feel this will be to the detriment of society and the numerous negative impacts are often overlooked. Coalition For Marriage is one… Continue reading
