London in peril as gun crime on the rise

The Bible teaches that lawlessness will increase across society the nearer we are to Jesus Christ’s return and this is certainly evident in the world around us. We are witnessing ‘London In Peril’ as lawlessness increases.

As social unrest increases it allows some to capitalize on this for their own gain. Although city gangs are nothing new they need little excuse to strike if there is an opportunity for more power and wealth. It seems that this is on the brink of getting out of control in London – Sky News: ‘London In Peril’ From Drug Gang Turf Wars.

Most people are oblivious to gang activities and although there are many reasons for this, one is the level of policing that curb what is visible to the public. Although corruption is evident in law enforcement establishments there are still good honest people that care about what they do. It is a concern, in the report when Darin Birmingham says: “I don’t think there is enough quality in the police anymore and they’ve lost control of these gangs.” If this is true it will result in the gangs growing, gaining more power and becoming bolder!

The influence on children is frankly disturbing – Darin continues with how older gang members feel: “They’re not worried about blokes their own age, they’re worried about the young ones, the tiny. To get their rank they have to do something completely mad. They have to draw blood. These kids are chaotic. If they see two lads from another gang on the other side of the street they go over and stab them.”

We live in an age where young children can play violent video games and watch horror films on demand.

When the violence is glamorized it’s no surprise that teens want to make a name for themselves. As this increases the public will start witnessing first hand gang violence. Whilst the police force numbers decrease and gangs member numbers go the opposite way it’s difficult to see this end peacefully!

As we cover in the ‘Signs in Society’ section of our end times article the Bible is very clear about the moral behaviour of society in the end times:

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 3:1-7, emphasis added)

We’ve highlighted parts of the passage that are evident in the gang scene but realistically they are all in some way relevant. These passages, written hundreds of years ago as a prophetic picture for our time, are now so clear and visible there is no excuse for not taking notice!

So what’s next?! Unfortunately, the article quotes Darin as saying: “The main thing for them is now radicalisation, people going to Syria. Everything domestic has been forgotten about and these gangs have become stronger.” The term ‘radicalisation’ is now common as we see with Islamic groups carrying out terror attacks around the world. Islamic groups are here in the UK too and growing as they are enticing teens with rich rewards. It won’t be long before we see more barbaric and brazen terrorism on the streets of London and it will be very difficult to prevent this. Islamization of Britain and other Western countries are very much on the Islamic agenda. Eventually, it may only be military support that prevents an outright takeover but most of our politicians and media have their heads buried in the sands over this issue. Although no-one is allowed to acknowledge this, it’s patently obvious that the present ‘immigration’ crisis is a perfect opportunity for an acceleration of this process with no apparent appetite or ability from the authorities to prevent this.

As Bible believers we know the end game, Jesus Christ is coming back, but Jesus warns to expect persecution. There are dark days ahead as we witness lawlessness increase globally and here in the UK. Knowing Jesus Christ as your personal Savior is the only comfort and security in this world. Maranatha!
