When we talk about signs of the times, like earthquakes and volcanoes, many dismiss this as something that as “always happened.” While this is true, the amount that is actually happening worldwide is vastly underestimated by the average person. Only major earthquakes or volcanoes make the mainstream news headlines but with the erupted volcano in Chile and recent earthquake in Nepal the worlds attention is on these natural disasters.

The Tel Aviv University’s Kantor Center for the Study of Contemporary European Jewry released a report showing the number of European anti-Semitic attacks in 2014 increased from the previous year. A total of 766 violent acts were reported with the UK finding itself second highest with 141 from 2013’s figure of 95.

With the lifting of sanctions on Iran, Russia wasted little time to lift their ban on supplying sophisticated air defense systems to Iran which has been in place since 2010. Whether Iran will actually get these defense systems is another question as it seems Russia does not have any S-300 missiles available but either way Israel will be watching this very closely!
Iran is not silent in their hatred for Israel so having these systems could give them the protection they need to continue, and even complete, their nuclear program! Iran and nuclear weapons are a bad recipe for Israel’s existence.
As the General Election here in the UK approaches, the political parties are in full swing with their election campaigns attempting to appeal to every person for those crucial votes. For the true Christians in this country, it can be a difficult decision to make, none of the main party leaders displays any real belief in God, so we have to prayerfully decide who will be this country’s most fitting leader.
