In our scientific age, many demand evidence to distinguish fact from fiction! As the evolution brainwashed generation grows, many believe science has answered the big questions…and why wouldn’t they? Our media portrays evolution as a proven fact and this subtly tells us we have no need for God and that we are not accountable to any greater power. Maybe this is where you stand, but is there evidence of the one true God?
It’s right that we should explore the evidence to explain our existence, but we need to be objective in our search. If you believe that God doesn’t exist are you being honest with the many different claims to God? As Alan Shlemon says in the video below, we need to evaluate and assess different claims:
Investigating the arguments is key in the quest for truth! If this quest isn’t done with an open heart then you have to ask if you really are in the search of the truth. The presuppositions everyone has makes this difficult and it’s easy to dismiss anything that goes against our current worldview – the road to truth is often painful and can lead down unexpected paths.
So how can we know the truth in our chaotic world and what makes the Christian faith the ultimate truth? The simple answer is found in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Although this evidence is overwhelming, it is often dismissed as there is an emotional barrier preventing the belief in something that occurred 2000 years ago, but time does not change facts. We would need to continually rewrite all our history books if we use this reasoning! But, although the evidence for Jesus Christ alone should be enough, there is more. Our loving God gave something disputable for our time – Bible prophecy!
We love Bible prophecy as this form of evidence is foolproof. As God says:
Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: (Isaiah 46:9-10, emphasis added)
Even though our world is in turmoil, true Christians can be excited because of many events happening around us as they demonstrate Jesus’ return is near. God uses Bible prophecy to demonstrate that He is the one true God and to warn us about the future so we can be prepared.
Bible prophecy is observable and testable evidence of the one true God. With a 100% accuracy rate of past prophecies, the future end time prophecies are only a matter of time. We have a choice to make, Jesus Christ’s return is coming – whether we are ready or not is up to us. Take a look at the world around us: World War 3 approaches rapidly; the global economy is on the brink of another crisis; Israel continues to come under fire; anti-Semitism increasing to levels reminiscent of Nazi Germany; technology advancing rapidly where we are tampering with the human genome and Biblical boundaries of human morality have been systematically discarded – worse still, the ‘church’ is virtually silent of much of this! God is incredibly patient but even His patience will run out at some point.
The signs that we are in the end times are simply overwhelming, just as we are told in the Bible, read more about them here. We’re not trying to be dramatic, only realistic! Don’t delay in searching for the truth, a truly open heart will lead you to our Saviour Jesus Christ! Be saved today!
