When contemplating the existence and reality of life in our enormous universe it appears to be a miracle! Despite our desperate search to find life on another planet, we have to accept this planet is a perfectly ‘fine-tuned’ for human life. Any tiny change to one of the constant’s in our surroundings would result in life becoming impossible – surely, a greater being holding our universe together?
As Christians we acknowledge and marvel at our God’s creation and His sustaining power. Atheists often accuse Christian’s of blindly saying, “God did it” whenever we discover any complexity in the world around us – we have to agree! We unashamedly give God the deserved glory for the amazingly fine-tuned universe He created but not only because of this. The fine-tuning of our universe is only one example of a wealth of evidence that point to the God of the Bible as our Creator God!
God has lovingly given each person the freedom to choose whether or not to recognise Him as Creator as He will not force anything on us – we are simply presented with overwhelming evidence by observing the world around us and invited to make a decision.
