When chatting with people about religious belief, many indicate that they are Christian – we obviously include ourselves here!
Sean Kehoe has written an online book that explores what a Christian is (according to the words of Jesus Christ) and it really acts as a checklist for any believer. For an online book, its format is easy to follow with chapter headings that can be selected and chapters that are mostly a digestible size.
We recommend this online book for anyone who considers themselves to be a Christian – what harm can there be in checking our faith against the definitions and criteria set by Jesus Christ? Where our eternal… Continue reading

Peace is always more of a hope than a reality in the Middle East and after a turbulent Spring around Israel there has been relative peace for a number of months – however, there is tension rising in Jerusalem again and it could escalate out of control at any point.
In the last month there has been a number of unprovoked and indiscriminate attacks against Jewish people in Israel. The boldness of these attackers is alarming, their aim is to cause as much suffering as possible with no thought of their own life. They are brainwashed with the ridiculous idea that they will be rewarded in heaven for killing as… Continue reading
If you are a regular to our website, you’ll know we try to emphasize the Jewish foundation of our faith and the notion that the NT is a fulfillment of the OT, as opposed to a replacement of the OT. Virtually every piece of Christian doctrine is underpinned in the OT and the book of Leviticus is richly packed with examples. Here, we are given a foundational verse concerning the work of Jesus Christ on our behalf:

Pastor Mike Barnard gave this sermon during a guest service at St. Andrews Baptist Church on Sunday 25th October 2014. The sermon was titled “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” and is challenging, as ever, from Mike. See the teachings page we have for Pastor Mike where there are also some of his previous sermons.
Pastor Mike always teaches from Scripture without compromising on Biblical truth which is very rare for a pastor in these last days. His sermon below is only 28 minutes long and well worth listening to…

Are we living in the Millennial Age? Revelation 20:1-6 describes a one thousand year period of time known as the millennial age as follows:
Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while. Then I… Continue reading
We regularly try to highlight trends that demonstrate the moral condition of the world at present and how these relate to the signs of the “end times”.
This article in Charismanews provides an excellent summary – 15 Signs of the Times Indicating Judgment. It hard to argue with some of the factors that are referred to here – we are really in a desperate state…
Although written for an American audience, most of this is equally relevant for us in the UK. In fact, we could argue that things are worse here – in the UK, there seems to be an even more air of sleepiness and lethargy than… Continue reading
We all know what to do when we come to a red light on the road – we stop! Although we now seem to be entering into a time where people think it really gives them another 3 seconds to continue on! We know that there is danger ahead if we continue, not only for ourselves but we could be a danger to others! Many are now taking more risks, everyone is in so much of a rush everywhere they go that these warning lights are taken less seriously! So what does it take to acknowledge these warning signs?
Society has little time outside of the continual daily routines to… Continue reading
